About Us

We teach a real mix of dance styles from Stage to Disco during our classes including all the fundemental techniques.

The school is proud that we still have a number of dancers who have been with us from the very beginning. We're also delighted to welcome many children of ex-pupils – The school is now on to the second and third generations of some families! This year we have welcomed many new pupils into the school and we are always looking forward to welcoming more new dancers.

Since the school opened in 1997, we have achieved a 100% pass rate in IDTA exam sessions with a high proportion of Highly Commended and Honours awards. This is a fantastic achievement.

We are very proud of the dancing school and all that the pupils have achieved. They are very dedicated bunch of individuals with a great team spirit who really support each other.

About Suzanne

Suzanne has been dancing since she was 8 years old. Her first Dance Teacher was Ann Stephanie on the Isle of Wight who later went on to form the Roly Polys on TV with Les Dawson.

Suzanne then went on to train with Carolyn Hersey - studying ballet, tap, modern dance and disco before qualifying as a Dance Teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association.

Since qualifying, Suzanne has run many successful workshops and courses at Portsmouth and Midhurst College. She has also held popular Line Dance Evenings for local Schools, PTAs and Charities as well as at Jumping Jacks Nightclub in Leisure World, Southampton.

Suzanne has also taught for Stagecoach Theatre School in Chichester for twenty-one years and seen many pupils graduate from the baby class through to the seniors and then on to further studies. Many now teach or perform professionally, either touring or in the West End. One of her early pupils, Danny Mac has appeared in Strictly Come Dancing.

In the last few years Suzanne has been privileged to teach adults and children with disabilities for the Aldingbourne Trust and PACSO. She has also recently started up a class with the Chichester Downs Syndrome Support Group.

Suzanne opened her dance school in 1997 and it is still going strong, years later!
